Thank you for your interest in working with us! We are actively looking for new talents in my lab. We highly encourage students from diverse backgrounds to apply. Due to the large volume of inquiries we receive regularly, we may not have the bandwidth to respond individually. Please check out the information below:

• For current UT students, please fill in this form and send the PI an email for reminder. The PI will reach out to schedule in-person interviews for selective candidates, typically at the beginning of each semester.

• For prospective graduate students, please follow our department’s graduate admissions process. There is no need to contact us. If you are interested in joining our group, please mention this in your statement of purpose. We are actively looking for self-motivated graduate students who have strong background in robotics, computer vision, and machine learning.

• For postdoc applicants, please email the PI directly with your CV, a cover letter, and a list of 3-5 references. We have several postdoc openings now. Please see this page for more detail.

• For visiting scholars and research interns, we have openings for long-term visits (six months or longer). Please fill in this form for application. Please only contact the PI if you have specific questions or research ideas to discuss. The PI will reach out to schedule a video interview for selective candidates.
